Apple's iPhone 4 is one of
the best-selling mobile phones of all time. And for good reason, it's sleek,
sexy, easy to use and reliable too. And just because the iPhone 5 has been
released doesn't mean that we should forget about the older 4 model. Yes, there
are functional differences between the two models, but for the average phone
user there isn't a huge difference in user experience. And of course, the big
advantage of going for the iPhone 4 over the iPhone 5 is that iPhone 4 prices
have dropped significantly since the release of the new model. Deciding which
company to sign a contract with can be tough though. With so many good deals
around, knowing which one works for you can be a difficult decision. Of course,
a lot depends on you. You want a plan that offers the right number of calling
minutes, text messages and data for your personal needs. But a lot depends on
price too. So if you're looking to sign a contract for an iPhone 4, here are
some of the best deals around right now...
No Money Down...
If
you don't want to pay any upfront costs on your iPhone 4, then you have quite a
few options. The cheapest deal is with Orange, a twenty four month contract
that has 100 calling minutes, 3000 text messages and 500 MB of data usage for
just £20.50 per month. That adds up to £492 over the course of the contract.
For heavy internet users, the best data plan deal is with Three. They offer a
twenty four month contract with 100 calling minutes, 5000 text messages and a
massive 3 GB of data usage for £30 a month, which adds up to £720 over the
course of the two year contract.
If
you're looking for a shorter contract, Vodafone offers a twelve month contract,
with 100 calling minutes, 3000 text messages and 100 MB of data for £35 per
month, coming to a total of £420 over the course of the contract. They also
offer a bigger option with 900 calling minutes, 3000 text messages and 500 MB
of data for £46 per month, coming to a total of £552 over the year long
contract.
Some Money Down...
If
you can put down some money up front, you can save on the cost of your monthly
bill. O2 has the best up front contract, where you pay £50 for the hand set,
get 100 calling minutes, 3000 text messages and 100 MB of data for £18.50 per
month. That adds up to £494 pounds over the course of a twenty four month
contract (including the initial up front cost of the phone).
For a
shorter contract, Vodafone offers a twelve month contract with £65 up front,
900 calling minutes, 3000 text messages and 500 MB of data for £46 per month;
over the course of the contract that totals £616 including the upfront cost of
the phone.
